About the Role
As Club Secretary Manager, you’ll play a pivotal, hands-on role in overseeing our operations, fostering team success, and enhancing our presence within the community. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual with strong business and management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver exceptional service.
- Manage financial, administrative, and operational processes effectively.
- Oversee gaming machine operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow membership and sales.
- Market the Club and its activities to position it as a premier community facility.
- Monitor cost control and restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Implement innovative initiatives to enhance the Club’s performance.
What We’re Looking For
- A proven background in business and management, with hospitality experience highly regarded.
- Strong financial, computer, and administrative skills.
- Holder of a Club Manager’s Certificate and Internal Affairs gaming machine approval (or the ability to obtain both within 3 months).
- In-depth knowledge of gaming machine requirements and procedures.
- Experience with cost control and restaurant management.
- Excellent leadership, marketing, and strategic planning skills.
- Flexibility to adapt your hours to suit the role’s needs.
