The future of Clubs New Zealand Darts

At the December Clubs New Zealand Board meeting, the Board unanimously agreed to pursue the reactivation of Clubs New Zealand Darts Tournaments in 2025, marking an exciting new chapter for darts within Clubs New Zealand.
The first step in this journey will be the establishment of brand-new Clubs New Zealand North and South Darts Tournaments. The National Office team is actively working through the details, with more information—including host clubs—expected to be announced in the New Year.
These new tournaments will be independent of Darts New Zealand, previously known as the Clubs New Zealand Darts Association. In December 2023, the Board confirmed its decision to withdraw support for the North, South, and National Darts Tournaments previously run by the Darts Association. This decision remains in place.
We believe the addition of these new tournaments to the darts calendar represent an exciting opportunity to reinvigorate darts across Clubs New Zealand and create tournaments that better align with our purpose and future focused outlook.
