The Role
Reporting to the Club President, you'll oversee all aspects of the Club's day-to-day operations, including:
- Managing bar, restaurant, gaming, TAB and function centre services.
- Driving marketing initiatives to grow membership, events and functions.
- Ensuring compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act, Gaming Act -especially licence applications and key persons, Incorporated Societies Act and other regulations.
- Leading and developing a dedicated team of staff.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
Delivering sound financial management, including Xero and POS systems.
What You'll Bring Senior management experience in the hospitality industry, including functions expertise.
- Current Club Managers Certificate and be approved by Internal Affairs to operate gaming machines or be able to obtain both within 3 months of starting employment.
- Proven leadership and marketing skills.
- Detailed knowledge of bar, restaurant, gaming and TAB operations.
- Familiarity with Xero and POS systems.
- Strong communication and IT skills.
- A collaborative approach to team and stakeholder management.
- An understanding of how clubs work would be beneficial.
- The ability to achieve and maintain Key Persons status with the Dept of Internal Affairs.
This is a hands-on position. You must hold NZ Citizenship to apply for this role.
