King's Birthday weekend is observed on the first Monday in June, which for 2023 is Monday, 5th June.

Like all other public holidays, King's Birthday will attract holiday entitlements depending on whether the day is an otherwise working day for the employee.

We have created a simple flow chart to help you determine employee entitlements for Kings Birthday

King's Birthday Public Holiday Entitlements

King's Birthday will be observed on the day it falls, this means the holiday will not be subject to Mondayisation.
