Clubs New Zealand Tournament Dates for 2022

The 2022 Clubs New Zealand sporting calendar will be kicking off on January 15th with a brand new tournament; South Island Men's Fours Lawn Bowls, hosted by the Oamaru Club. National Census Prezzy Card Winners

On the 15th September, we emailed all clubs the Clubs New Zealand 2021 Census document for completion.  Every club that completed and returned the census prior to the closing date of December 3rd was put in the draw to win one of 20 $100 Prezzy Cards.

The draw to find the winner of the 2021 Clubs New Zealand Sport $2,000 Prezzy Card Voucher was recently conducted and we would like to congratulate this years winner Sid Waiparata of the Porirua Club.

Sid entered the draw by completing the entry form when participating in the Clubs New Zealand 2021 National Euchre Tournament that was recently hosted by the Porirua Club.

Vaccine Passports - What we Know

First the disclaimer: We are making a lot of assumptions here and we have tried our best to point these out, but please understand that this will depend entirely on the final rules that the Government sets in place.  We are also assuming your club will be deemed vaccinated under the traffic light system.

However, it seems that the approach thus far is to let everyone decide on their own systems, with the onus on ensuring everyone in the club is vaccinated.  And if they aren’t and you get caught, expect big fines, and most likely a serious backlash from all the vaccinated members.

Annual Membership Updates will be hitting inboxes next month

18 November 2021

Early next month all clubs will receive an email with a link for you to complete your annual membership update.  This year we have made some big changes to the annual update form to simplify and speed up the process.

As with previous update forms, this one will be online and the link to access the form will be emailed to each club early in December.  We will be asking clubs to complete the membership declaration and reciprocal rights sections only, so the form has reduced from many, many fields down to six.

Proposed changes to gambling operational policy - Have your say!

Kia ora,

We are making changes to our operational policy regarding gaming machine profits (GMP) data and are inviting you to have your say.

The proposed change will allow select permitted users that need detailed data to carry out their work access to GMP data at an individual venue level. This is different to our current approach, where we publish GMP data at the territorial district level on our website every quarter.
