We have been blown away by the response to our "Back to Basics" Club Managers Courses.  The May and June courses are now full, and new dates will be confirmed soon, with a wait list already forming.

This two day course is aimed at "upskilling" managers who may need to improve their knowledge around "compliance" issues and obtain detailed understanding of the various components Clubs traditionally earn revenue from.  Some of the topics covered include:

  • Who is Clubs New Zealand and what we can assist with via our website or in person
  • Basic accounting requirements for your club – Audits, Gaming accounts, "KISS"
  • Legislation that effects your club - i.e. the Sale & Supply of Liquor Act 2012, Incorporated Societies Act, Food Bill
  • Gaming – best practices
  • Business Partners – making them work for your Club

The cost to attend the two day course is $170.00 per person.

This course was initially designed for managers new to the club scene, however it is a great opportunity for managers who have been in the industry for a number of years who feel they need to refresh their knowledge and get a better understanding of the many legislative changes.

Held at Clubs New Zealand National Office the course is relaxed and numbers kept low to ensure ample opportunities for discussion and sometimes debate.
