We are pleased to announce that the Clubs New Zealand "Back to Basics" Club Managers Training Course will be back in 2016, with the dates for the first course being locked in for Tuesday 24th May and Wednesday 25th May 2016 and a second course being held Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th June 2016.

This two day course is aimed at "upskilling" managers who may need to improve their knowledge around "compliance" issues and obtain detailed understanding of the various components Clubs traditionally earn revenue from.  Some of the topics covered include:

  • Who is Clubs New Zealand and what we can assist with via our website or in person
  • Basic accounting requirements for your club – Audits, Gaming accounts, "KISS"
  • Legislation that effects your club - i.e. the Sale & Supply of Liquor Act 2012, Incorporated Societies Act, Food Bill
  • Gaming – best practices
  • Business Partners – making them work for your Club

The cost to attend the two day course is $170.00 per person.
